On this occasion, we are pleased to share the recent collaborative efforts of Netspring’s Green IT Program with—American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, PVH, and UPS—taking concrete actions to advance resource circularity and green actions.
What makes these actions truly inspiring is that they are embedded in everyday practice while also shining at every meaningful moment. From Earth Day to World Environment Day, our partners have demonstrated with real actions just how tangible and heartfelt common good can be.

Netspring & the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai Received 3.5+ Tons of E-waste on Earth Day 2026
On International Earth Day, Netspring Green IT Programs joined forces with the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai to successfully carry out the 2026 E-waste Recycling Drive. We sincerely thank all organizations and individuals for their active participation and support. Every eco-friendly action helps protect the environment and advance global sustainability.
The drive took place on April 22 at the Chamber’s Suzhou Center and on April 24 at its Shanghai office. This marks the 13th consecutive year that Netspring and the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai have collaborated on Earth Day to practice this green action. The two events received over 1,700 e-waste items, with a total weight exceeding 3.5 tons.
After the event, Netspring will sort and test all received equipment. Severely damaged or obsolete e-waste will be sent to professional plants for safe, eco-friendly disposal. Items suitable for reuse will be refurbished and reintegrated into the Green IT Programs for recycling.
Moving forward, the program remains committed to its mission of “transforming e-waste into e-learning.” We will continue to unlock the circular value of old electronics and build green IT classrooms for remote schools and local communities, supporting equitable access to educational resources through a low-carbon model. We are grateful to our long-time partner, AmCham Shanghai, and to all participating organizations and individuals for their heartfelt support. We look forward to working together again next Earth Day to advance low-carbon and ecological values, protect nature, and build a greener, better home.
From E-waste to Empowerment: UPS & Netspring Celebrate World Environment Day
April and May mark UPS's Global Volunteer Month. This year, UPS officially launched its annual e-waste and book drive on April 10, with the event running through May 27. UPS encouraged employees to drop off idle or obsolete electronic devices and spare books at designated collection points in office buildings for Netspring to collect for needy schools. A total of 170+ employees actively participated, contributing over 700 items across three locations—Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hefei. Through practical action, they demonstrated their commitment to resource recycling and sustainability, offering a meaningful tribute to World Environment Day.
This marks the fifth time since 2022 that UPS has partnered with Netspring team to hold the e-waste and book drive. All collected e-waste will be handed over to support Netspring Green IT Programs, where it will undergo eco-dismantling or be refurbished. The books collected this year have already been sent to a primary and junior school in Xinxiang, Henan Province—a school where UPS, together with Netspring Green IT Programs, established a Green IT Classroom in November 2025, providing better facilities for weekly IT classes for students in grades 3 to 9. Now, this new batch of books will further enrich the local students' extracurricular reading resources, allowing knowledge to continue its value as it is passed on.
In March 2026, UPS also supported Netspring team to launch an IT Skills Improvement Workshop at the same school. The workshop began with a targeted training session for nearly 20 teachers, focusing on WPS PowerPoint—a tool widely used in their daily instruction. Following that, Netspring team conducted a computer drawing workshop for around 90 students in grades 5 to 8. From empowering teachers to inspiring young learners, this skills-building initiative has turned the Green IT Classroom into more than just hardware—it is now a thriving hub for digital education.
PVH Volunteer Month Comes to Successful Conclusion
In April 2026, coinciding with PVH's Global Volunteer Month, the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) was realized through the active participation of its employees. In Early April, sixteen PVH volunteers, in partnership with Netspring Green IT Programs, initiated a campus renovation project at the Beiwu Road campus of Jingdong Primary School. Through hands-on efforts, the volunteers aimed to directly improve the school's facilities and enhance the students' daily learning environment.
The primary focus of this initiative was enhancing the physical campus environment through both indoor and outdoor restorative work. During the indoor phase, PVH volunteers, under the guidance of professional craftsmen, used child-friendly eco-friendly paint and took part in the hands-on restoration and repainting of an old classroom. Through meticulous efforts, the once-yellowed and stained walls were transformed into a clean and tidy space, effectively addressing the issues of an outdated and dim classroom. This created a fresher and more pleasant teaching and learning environment for both teachers and students.
Subsequently, the volunteers helped the school beautify its exterior walls. They mixed paints, painted with care, and created lovely cartoon characters on the blank walls of the teaching building. The bright and colorful murals filled the empty spaces, brightened up the campus corners, and made the overall campus environment more delightful and engaging, drawing many curious students to stop and watch.
Furthermore, to ensure absolute environmental safety, Netspring team commissioned a certified professional testing agency to conduct an indoor air quality inspection following post-construction ventilation. The final results confirmed that all indicators met safety standards, successfully safeguarding the health and well-being of the faculty and students.
Complementing the physical facility upgrades, PVH volunteers also facilitated the donation of used books collected internally from company employees. This donation enriched the students' extracurricular reading resources while actively promoting the core principles of environmental protection and the circular economy. As the event drew to a close, the volunteers gathered for a group photo in front of the freshly painted exterior walls and the clean, bright classrooms. This campus community service initiative exemplified the true meaning of volunteerism, taking root on campus and quietly nurturing the growth of a new generation.
