An Unforgettable Journey towards the Future

Since its inception in summer 2023, partnered with BTC (Beyond the City) and Netspring Green IT Programs, Grundfos has engaged nearly 120 students from remote regions in China over three consecutive years. Young participants were curiously and excited to explore the super big city Shanghai through self-designed routes, on-site visit industry-leading companies, join the interactive workshops with corporate volunteers and career coaches. Children have not only broadened their horizons and enriched their knowledge, but also anchored the direction for their future career development. Empowering village students to explore the infinite possibilities of the future is one of the original intentions that Grundfos launched this program.

With Grundfos’ sustained support, Netspring team has established two Grundfos Green IT classrooms in "Infinite Journey" partner schools Deyang, Sichuan and Yuexi, Anhui respectively in 2023 and 2024 to provide facilities for children there to receive digital education. In addition, two other Grundfos Green IT classrooms have also been launched in Handan, Hebei and Suzhou, Jiangsu. Within three years, four Grundfos Green IT Classrooms have been beneficial 1700+ students and teachers. Two additional Grundfos Green IT Classrooms will be established in the coming months. All these achievements are the best proof of Grundfos' solid commitment to sustainability.

Netspring Team Follow-Up Visits to Ensure Our Green IT Classrooms Are Ready for the New Semester!

Our team traveled over 3,500 km in two weeks to conduct follow-up visits at 10 schools, ensuring a smooth start to the new semester.

Netspring team worked tirelessly from Nanjing to Henan to Xi'an, from Zhangzhou, Fujian to Suzhou and Shanghai, visiting 8 schools which have been equipped with Green IT Classrooms already and meanwhile inspecting 2 new schools to do site check for the completion of new classrooms in the future. The follow-up visits aim to ensure that children can use computers that are functioning well from the beginning of the semester. Netspring engineers inspected every computer and replaced those have problems and cannot be repaired directly.

“Through the visits, we hope that the computer classes in the new semester can be carried out smoothly. We wish the children to master computer operations proficiently, learn more knowledge, and fully explore the fun of the digital world. " said Ms. Wei, the program director of Netspring Green IT Programs.

Draw the Green Future of the Earth with A Pen--2025 Netspring Students Digital Art Competition is Underway

Since 2019, Netspring Green IT Programs has become one of the green common good projects supported by the ‘Franco-Chinese Environment Month’(FCEM) organized by the Embassy of France in China for six consecutive years. In mid-May, Netspring Green IT Programs has announce the launch of the 2025 Students Digital Art Competition, with a series of heavyweight activities to be held during FCEM in October this year. Now, the collection work is currently in full swing, and we look forward to the children submitting more excellent artworks this year.

Netspring Students Digital Art Competition aims to encourage students to express their understanding of environmental protection and green futures through brushstrokes. Through their artworks, children can have a chance to not only showcase their imagination and creativity on environmental conservation, but also think about the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Serving as a dialogue bridge between children and the public, these artworks will raise public awareness about preserving Earth's resources. The competition will engage more than ten schools supported by Netspring Green IT Programs, with participation expected from more than 300 elementary and middle school students.

This competition sets up three creative categories: traditional painting, digital painting, and coding animation. To help school teachers and students better understand the competition theme and guidelines, Netspring team will provide targeted training for participating schools upon request, along with guidance throughout the process. All artworks will be submitted by the end of September, and will be evaluated by a professional judging panel organized by Netspring. Furthermore, during the Franco-Chinese Environment Month (FCEM), Netspring team will organize public showcase and award ceremony for outstanding artworks. We really hope that young artists’ creativity could reach a wider audience and their environmental advocacy resonates across society.
