  • Finalist in the category of NGO/Social Enterprise Awards in AmCham Shanghai 2024 Sustainability and Responsibility Leadership Awards
  • Shortlisted in the category of the Excellence in Social Innovation in the European Chamber 11st Corporate Social Responsibility Awards
 
The awards stand for recognition, our success is inseparable from the support of long-term trusted partners. Thank you all, we will uphold our mission and continue to move forward. Moreover, Netspring, in collaboration with AmCham Shanghai will hold its annual e-waste drive during the Earth Day Celebrations in April. Specific details will be announced  shortly. We sincerely invite you to join us in supporting environmental protection.
 
In the last two months of 2024, Netspring team supported Virtuos Shanghai and Chengdu Studio to carry out enthusiastic volunteering activities. Volunteers came to the schools where the Virtuos Green IT Classrooms were located. They had IT classes and handicraft classes with the students there, and guided them to explore the unknown fields. Netspring Received Two Honors!
Finalist in the category of NGO/Social Enterprise Awards in AmCham Shanghai 2024 Sustainability and Responsibility Leadership Awards
AmCham Shanghai 2024 Sustainability and Responsibility Leadership Conference and Awards was successfully held on January 10, 2025 at AmCham Shanghai Conference Center, nearly 100 distinguished guests attended this magnificent event. For its high quality project content, solid project outcomes and positive impact to society, Netspring Green IT Programs was recognized as a finalist in the category of NGOs/Social Enterprises Award in AmCHam Shanghai 2024 Sustainability and Responsibility Leadership Awards.
 
On the day of the conference and award ceremony, 11 NGOs and social enterprises were invited to set up a stand to showcase their projects to the representatives of AmCham Shanghai's member companies. Netspring's booth attracted much attention for its display of colorful students’ paintings, and the team members also had lively conversations with guests, communicating and sharing the mission and project execution details of Netspring Green IT Classroom Programs. During the conference, Ms. Linda Wei, Project Director of Netspring Green IT Classroom Programs, was invited to participate in the panel discussion session of Winners Circle. She shared her insights on how to address industry challenges and measure project results with three other heavyweight guests.
 
Shortlisted in the category of the Excellence in Social Innovation in the European Chamber 11st Corporate Social Responsibility Awards
The European Chamber 11th Corporate Social Responsibility Awards Ceremony was held in Nanjing on Nov 14, 2024, Netspring was honored to be shortlisted in the category of the Excellence in Social Innovation which aims to recognize the excellent performance for social enterprise and NGOs in practicing social innovation.
 

Sweep Away the Chill of Autumn and Winter with Enthusiastic Volunteering Activities -- Virtuos Shanghai and Chengdu Studio Annual Volunteering Activities Successfully Concluded

 

Retain the Memories of Autumn – Virtuos Shanghai Volunteering Activity

On November 21 afternoon, led by Netspring team, 18 young volunteers from Virtuos Shanghai Studio came to their supported private primary school located in Minhang District to carry out a variety of volunteering activities with more than 80 children there. 

Students from the school actively participated in this year's 5th Netspring Students’ Digital Art Competition, and some award-winning students personally attended the award ceremony held on October 30th at Jing'an District Youth and Children's Library. Before the start of the volunteering activity, Netspring team and school teacher held a small ceremony on spot to present certificates and prizes to other students who had won excellent and participation awards, encouraging them to continue to pay attention to environmental protection topics and create excellent paintings.

 

The children were overjoyed to hear that the young volunteers from Virtuos Shanghai Studio were coming, and they eagerly lined up to enter the Green IT Classroom, waiting for the arrival of volunteer teachers. Volunteer Teacher Engineer Artist Zhang used a warm tone to introduce Virtuos company is a leading global game production company, he encouraged children to share their daily practices on this topic. Finally, under the patient guidance of other Virtuos volunteers, the children began to operate computers to create environmental related digital posters, and shared their works with everyone before the end of the course. The handicraft class was held in the natural science classroom, the children were divided into 8 groups, and nearly 10 volunteers also divided into groups to assist the children in creating leaf stick painting with leaves and other materials. 

 

Cup Drawing to Convey Warmth in Cold Winter – Virtuos Chengdu Studio Volunteering Activity

On December 17th afternoon, nine volunteers from Virtuos Chengdu Studio came to their supported school located in Shuangliu District to carry out a variety of interesting volunteering activities with 30 students there.

 

The first arrangement was the handover ceremony of teachers' computers in the computer classroom. Virtuos HR Director handed over 10 refurbished computers to school leader in Virtuos Green IT Classroom. The newly added computers will fully support school teachers in their daily work, providing the smooth operation and greatly increasing their efficiency in lesson preparation. Later on, the young volunteer gentleman from Virtuos Chengdu Studio began the computer class with the students. Under the patient guidance of the volunteers, the children created their own posters existing in their brains by deploying their immature thinking. The handicraft class was a very novel glass painting creation. With the assistance of the volunteers, the children showed their extraordinary creativity. The final products were full of artistic flavor which won the volunteers grand applause in the classroom. Also, volunteers wished the students to convey their care and bring warmth to their families and friends in this winter through the cup drawing creation.
