As we welcome the Year of the Horse in 2026, Netspring team extends our heartfelt gratitude to all partners, supporters, and teachers for your continued collaboration and dedication. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones in this challenging yet rewarding year.

Over the past year, we built Green IT Classrooms in needy areas and carried out diverse volunteering activities with our partners. Our program was once again recognized as an official green initiative by 2025 Franco-Chinese Month of the Environment, and we proudly hosted the 6th Netspring Students' Digital Art Competition & Artworks Showcase. We are delighted to share some of these memorable moments with you, celebrating the warmth and impact we've created together.

Finally, we wish you all a joyful and prosperous Year of the Horse 2026!

Netspring Student Digital Art Competition Award Ceremony Held During Franco-Chinese Environment Month
"Blue Horizons, Green Futures in the eyes of children" Exhibition Opens Alongside
During the 12th Franco-Chinese Environment Month, Netspring Student Digital Art Competition Award Ceremony was successfully held on October 27 at Jing'an District Library (Tianmu Road). Under the theme "Blue Horizons, Green Futures in the eyes of children," the competition aimed to showcase children's unique perspectives on environmental protection through digital artworks. This year's competition featured three categories—Coding Animation, Digital Painting, and Traditional Painting—attracting participation from 20 schools with nearly 350 submissions, both reaching record highs.
Ms. Carla Haid, Higher Education Programs Officer of the Consulate General of France in Shanghai, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, commending Netspring's solid achievements in environmental education and children's empowerment. Ms. Chen, HR Director of UPS, spoke as a partner representative, highly praising the children's artistic talent and environmental awareness. Ms. Wei, Program Director of Netspring, expressed gratitude to the Consulate General of France in Shanghai and long-term partners FORVIA, Virtuos, Grundfos, and UPS for their strong support.

The theme of this year's Franco-Chinese Environment Month, " Blue Horizons, Green Futures," profoundly illustrates the interdependence between marine and terrestrial ecosystems. Coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the Paris Agreement and the successful convening of the third UN Ocean Conference in Nice, France this June, the theme serves as a crucial reminder - amid growing environmental and ecological pressures - for every one of us to focus on the challenges facing our blue planet and to take concrete action for a sustainable future.

A Digital Gift from Afar: A Look Back at Grundfos IT Classroom Initiatives Across China
In the fourth quarter of 2025, Grundfos Green IT Classroom Program reached Dali (Yunnan) and Xi’an (Shaanxi), alongside a community volunteer activity in Songjiang (Shanghai). Built on refurbished IT equipment and enriched by digital sustainability workshops and employee engagement, the initiative turned circular economy principles into tangible action—delivering quality digital resources to students, advancing educational equity, and opening doors to a wider world where green values and young dreams grow together.

Dali, Yunnan: A Digital Classroom Takes Root to Mountain Communities
In late October, a Grundfos Green IT Classroom was inaugurated at Xiaowandong Town in Dali, Yunnan. Equipped with 50 Grundfos refurbished computers, the new facility will serve over 600 students over the next three years—bringing new momentum to digital education in the mountain community. More than just a IT classroom, we hope it could be a window through which mountain children can see a wider world.

Following the ceremony, Grundfos volunteers led workshops on IT skills and environmental topics. From PPT making to poster design, students gained foundational digital skills while deepening their understanding of water conservation. Hands-on activities like composting and planting turned classroom learning into real-world action—letting green values take root in young hearts.

Xi’an, Shaanxi: Green Technology Meets Cultural Learning
In mid-December, Grundfos volunteers visited a village school in Chang’an, Xi’an, where a newly opened Green IT Classroom hosted a themed workshop blending traditional Chinese culture, global festivities, and environmental awareness—helping students broaden their perspectives in a multicultural context.

The 35 laptops, provided by Grundfos and refurbished by Netspring, extend the lifecycle of IT equipment while serving as a vivid example of the circular economy in action. Through bilingual vocabulary activities, digital tools, and creative crafts, volunteers guided students in exploring the meaning of “protect,” “save,” and “reuse”—turning sustainability concepts into tangible experiences and allowing green values to take root in everyday learning.

Songjiang, Shanghai: Digital Beginnings, Green Connections
In early December, Grundfos volunteers and Netspring team visited a migrant school in Shanghai Songjiang District, delivering a dual-theme workshop that combined English crafts with Green IT learning. In a relaxed and engaging atmosphere, students were introduced to digital devices, building foundational digital literacy. Volunteers guided students in reflecting on the connection between everyday actions and environmental protection. A short yet impactful session, it sparked curiosity and planted seeds of sustainability at the very start of their digital journey.

UPS Green IT Classroom Successfully Launched in Henan in Nov. 2025, Bringing Digital Access and Environmental Inspiration
On November 12, a delegation of UPS China management representatives and 10 volunteers arrived at a rural school in Xinxiang, Henan Province, to witness the official opening of the UPS Green IT Classroom. Through interactive IT and eco-handcraft classes, the volunteers engaged warmly with students, encouraging them to share their aspirations and sparking their interest in information technology. The new classroom effectively addresses the school's long-standing shortage of computer facilities, helping bridge the digital divide and broaden learning horizons for rural children.

The school principal expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that the donated computers not only ease teaching difficulties but also reflect UPS and Netspring's deep commitment to rural education, inspiring both students and teachers to move forward with determination. Ms. Linda Wei, Program Director of Netspring, thanked UPS for its continued support and expressed her hope that the children would achieve academic success and give back to society in the future.

The power of common good grows from every small act of kindness. In the contribution drive, 58 UPS employees from Henan and Shanghai actively participated, contributing a total of 676 contributed items. These supplies have not only expanded the children’s knowledge horizons but also brightened their extracurricular experience. Each item carries the deep care and sincere blessings of UPS employees toward the children in rural areas.
