Nov./Dec. 2020: Happy Christmas! Celebrating Virtuos Green IT Classroom Opening and Joyful Winners
The festive Season is on its way. Netspring team would like to thank you for all what was accomplished in this challenging year. Despite overall tough environment, we were able to hold openings and volunteerings, partipate to events such as the Franco-Chinese Month of the environment or celebrating Awards. In the second half of the year, we have been very busy and would like to share with you a selection of our latest happy moments. We also wish you a Happy Christmas !
Celebrating the 2nd Virtuos Green IT Classroom Opening!
On a sunny day, more than 300 joyful fourth-graders in a Shanghai migrant school welcomed enthusiastic Virtuos Shanghai volunteers, and shared warm moments during the Virtuos Green IT Classroom inauguration. The volunteers taught digital drawing to the children and actively engaged them in other creative activities.
“We have been collaborating with Netspring since 2012, the combination of environmental protection and digital learning is very meaningful and could make contribution to society. We hope this Green IT classroom in the next three years could bring more education resources for children, let us witness the growth of these children and shared love!”

Congratulations to the winners! Owens Corning Volunteers host our 2020 digital art competition
The Netspring children's digital art competition fostered children's creativity, imagination and concern for environmental protection and "biodiversity". Owens Corning volunteers enthusiastically taught students digital painting and recognized the talents and best artworks of the competition participants. They also carried out fun and healthy outdoor activities with the children.

Netspring wins the 7th European Chamber “Excellence in Social Innovation” CSR Award
The 2020 Corporate Social Responsibility Awards were held in Nanjing on Nov. 19 2020, by EUCCC (European Union Chamber of Commerce in China). This event aimed at sharing CSR experience, raising sustainability awareness and acknowledging CSR successes.
Netspring was honored to win the “Excellence in Social Innovation” Award in the NGO/ Social Enterprises” category, and also invited to deliver a speech on Circular Economy & Tech4Good and joined the panel discussion.
We sincerely thank the European Chamber and all the judges for recognizing the impact Netspring has created for underprivileged students and the green economy. We are grateful to all our partners and supporters who helped us achieve this new milestone in such a challenging year.
