Apr. 2020: Let’s prepare Earth Day Together : Join the 13th AmCham Shanghai / NETSPRING E-Waste Drive on April 24

Netspring has collaborated with AmCham Shanghai over the past 7 years. Today, in preparation of the forthcoming Earth Day, we are happy to launch our 13th e-waste recycling drive with AmCham Shanghai which will take place on April 24th (Friday), 2020!

Please drop off your unwanted electronic goods to below address for annual E-waste Drive:

Time:     April 24th, 2020 (Friday), 9:30–16:30
Venue:  AmCham Shanghai Conference Center, 27/F, Infinitus Tower Office, Shanghai

Besides drop-offs in Shanghai, Netspring can now manage the recycling or re-use of bulk quantities of obsolete computers/office equipment in other cities across China.

All electronic items collected will be used to support the Netspring Green IT Classrooms Program. Netspring team will manage the sorting and refurbishment of reusable computers to set up Green IT Classrooms for underprivileged children in China. Any unusable items will be disposed in an environmental-friendly way. Netspring strengthened its relationship with partners and provided new IT coding teaching capacity to the students and their teachers.

Participants to the drive will receive a certificate of appreciation, with your contributions to be registered and communicated preferably before April 20th, 2020.

We accept items like,

  • Computers, laptops and hard drives (preferably the ones that still have hard drives and memory sticks, but all computers are welcome)
  • Monitors, keyboards and mice
  • Printers, scanners and fax machines
  • Cables, extension cords, adapters, USBs, plugs and wires
  • Cameras, mobile phones etc.
  • Other related parts and accessories (except mercury-containing fluorescent tube)

We are grateful to your great support and look forward to your participation!
