Virtuos’ E-waste and Book Drive in 2021 Summer Built a Bridge of Love for Netspring Children
With aiming to transforming e-waste into e-education and enhancing environmental protection, Virtuos collaborated with Netspring team to carry out E-waste and Book Drive from July 23 – August 13. This activity also contributed to Netspring Green IT programs. Since 2012, Virtuos has joined hands with Netspring on environment and e-waste management. On a yearly basis, Netspring helps Virtuos deal with its obsolete computers, screens and other electronic devices to be eco-dismantled. Virtuos Group opened 2 Green IT classrooms in Shanghai and Chengdu. In the coming autumn, Virtuos will support us even more. Virtuos builds a bridge of love for Netspring children with digital resources and nature knowledge, bringing more vivid imagination about the world to those children. Let's look forward to more collaboration with Virtuos.
"Hi, volunteers from Netspring and Virtuos. We have already received the books! Even though it is far way, we still could feel warm and touched by your love and these books. I know greatful words are already a little pale and weak at the moment, let us pass over this love together with children! Loving you…"

New Semester Visit:Netspring Volunteers Taught Students at Migrant Schools
The protection of earth resources is an indispensable part of the common interests and development process of mankind. Netspring held workshops with the theme of ‘Preserving our Earth Resources’ since this summer vacation to raise students’ environmental awareness, stimulate their creativity and advocate eco behavior.
With new semester opening, Netspring volunteering team made campus visits and presentations about earth resources protection at Songjiang and Minhang migrant schools in Shanghai on Sept. 7th, 2021. The vivid slide show and mutual interaction inspired the students to think about and discuss with volunteers on what the earth resources are, how to protect and save our resources in daily life. The ideas of the students made the event full of creativity and fun, meanwhile the students learned rich knowledge in the class.
Netspring team also paid routine visit and maintained Green IT classrooms in migrant schools in the new semester to make sure the digital class could be delivered normally for the students.
Save the Date: E-waste Drive in Beijing – Nov. 2nd, 2021 (Tuesday)
To echo the environment protection, Netspring proposes to organize an e-waste recycling drive to reduce environmental pollution caused by e-waste and protect soil, plants, and water resources as well as human health. Netspring will recycle the collections and refurbish the reusable items to outfit Green IT classrooms in rural or migrant children schools throughout China, providing teachers with digital teaching equipment and bringing better educational resources to students or communities in need.
