Jun. 2020: Celebrating Children’s Day with Students Back to School and World Environment Day
Our Children Back to School : New Start and New Hope
After celebrating Children’s Day on June 1st, most of primary schools’ students in China were back on campus, marking the beginning of the spring semester of 2020 after a long suspension due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, sailing with new start and new hope.
Both students and teachers were excited to meet again, with new social distancing measures in schools. Various entrance education programs have been conducted to ensure a smooth and safe school day.
With the end of their longest “winter vacation”, the sound of reading books can now be heard again on school campuses with sports activities after a long period of distance teaching.
In the time of crisis that affects us all since early 2020, we served our schools the best we could. NETSPRING developed Distance Teaching for teachers in April, and with additional technology support, both schools and NETSPRING teams are jointly preparing for new coding classes to be launched in the new semester.
United, we will grow stronger together as a Caring community!
Celebrating Environmental Day: Building A Sustainable Future
On the occasion of the World Environment Day, we would like to thank all supporters who have provided their unwanted computers and e-waste, and more specifically companies who participated in our 13th e-waste recycle drive with AmCham Shanghai last April. We received twice as much contribution as last year, reaching nearly 1.5 tons of unwanted electronics which will be either recycled or re-used in our Green IT Classrooms. Grateful thanks to AmCham Shanghai for supporting NETSPRING children for more than 7 years.
In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs), NETSPRING promotes the circular economy by creating shared value as well as positive environmental and social impacts.
NETSPRING teams strive to remain an innovative “technology for good” player and serve communities in need, as well as a recognized advocate of green economy to preserve our planet’s resources for future generations.
