Happy Year of the Pig ! Let’s Enlighten Netspring Children’s Future !

As the New Lunar Year is just around the corner, we wish you happiness and success for the New Year of the Pig!

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to all our partners’ in reaching such a fruitful year together. In the year of the Dog, Netspring provided access to digital technology to over 40,000 children who benefited from a better education, whilst protecting the environment. Netspring teams opened new classrooms, revisited schools and organized many volunteering and team building activities for corporate volunteers and university students to enhance shared value. We are therefore pleased to share some testimonials from partners and underprivileged schools.

Looking ahead to 2019, we will strengthen collaboration with our partners to further innovate and bring digital and technology skills to more underprivileged students. Netspring will also work as a catalyst to involve as many communities as possible in the digital economy.

Last but not least, we are happy to announce our 11th e-waste recycling drive with AmCham Shanghai on March 22nd, 2019, please SAVE THE DATE!

Insights from Olivia Chai, Co-founder and Chairwoman of IFA PARIS...

IFA PARIS, Fashion School of Luxury and Design, is based in Paris and Shanghai. Olivia Chai, its Chairwoman, a recipient of the Shanghai Magnolia award, shared her insights with us:

“Nobody can grow up smoothly without support from family and society. Each of us should cultivate the habit of giving back to society since childhood. Therefore, IFA PARIS hopes that our students can learn more about common good projects and also actively engage in them, try their best to give back to our society and the country we live in.

Netspring computers recycling program, is an interesting one, as it benefits both the environment and underprivileged students. Firstly, it can help the latter connect to the world and enjoy a new way of life. Furthermore, Netspring visually impaired program can help students with disabilities gain IT skills, and give back to the community and society. They can also fulfill their own potential and create positive social impact in return. More people with disabilities can learn and develop themselves and positively contribute to a harmonious and sustainable society.

“We’d like to have more volunteers interact with children to foster their creativity and imagination of the future. Our students also need extra computers and more books for reading to broaden their horizons.”

“Since we are based in rural area, the distance teaching workshop for our teachers is more than welcomed. Our students get far more familiar with the operations of computers than we do, with the use of computers, they adapt themselves to automatically explore internet learning resources like courseware, course videos and online tests.”
