Special Communique: Special Communique: Beware of fraudulent use of Netspring name and logo in China

May 24, 2018 – Special Communique: Beware of fraudulent use of Netspring name and logo in China

Since 2012, the Netspring Green IT Class Program has recycled “e-waste into e-education” and supported the digital inclusion of more than 30,000 underprivileged children in China. Given our social, educational and environmental missions, it is our duty to inform you that we have uncovered cases of fraudulent use of the Netspring logo, fraudulent use of self-proclaimed Netspring Ltd titles and personal LinkedIn information and recommendations, covering the period August 2015 to April 2017.

In particular, Netspring Ltd, never appointed Ms. Clotilde Pallier, a French citizen residing in Shanghai, as its General Manager. Between August 2015 and April 2017, she was an employee of Shanghai Yiquan Social Enterprise. Any use of the title of General Manager of Netspring, Netspring Ltd or Netspring Social Enterprise, as well as any endorsement of the existence or the direct management of such a position during the above-mentioned period is fraudulent.

To protect the interests of the underprivileged children our program serves and those of our clients, we will relentlessly continue to take measures to combat such gross and fraudulent misconduct. We have already taken strong actions including, but not limited to:

- Recovery of hijacked financial contributions intended to support our program and diverted by Ms. Clotilde Pallier, in another bank account than that of her employer. Diverted amounts were only returned to our program, through legal action, six months after she had left the company.

Personalized communication to companies or individuals to inform of uncovered cases of diversion of our resources and assets, based on the fraudulent use of Netspring name, trademark or logo in China (e.g. several project launches, events and their related communication).

- For any check on individuals who may have contacted you in the name of Netspring, Netspring Ltd or Netspring Social Enterprise between August 2015 and April 2017, kindly write to netspring@netspringworld.com. For more info, please visit www.netspringworld.com.

We are not responsible for actions undertaken by individuals fraudulently representing Netspring Ltd and we reserve the right to take legal action to protect the interests of our company.

We thank you for your continued support as we further progress, as a pioneer social enterprise, in our work in underprivileged communities in China.
